Last updated: 14 June 2026
WalletEye helps users manage expenses, people ledger, groups, receipts, reports, sync, backups, exports, rewarded features, and optional Premium subscriptions while respecting user privacy.
1. Scope and Purpose
This Privacy Policy explains how WalletEye collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use our mobile app, website, and related services. It is written to support transparency for Google Play User Data and Data Safety requirements.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use WalletEye, we may process:
- Account and identity data: name, mobile number, email, login method, and account identifiers
- Financial and app content: parties, groups, accounts, transactions, categories, balances, notes, reminders, budgets, receipts, receipt attachments, inventory items, customers, invoices, bills, and related business records
- Subscription and purchase status: plan type, premium status, subscription expiry, purchase token/status received through Google Play Billing
- Advertising data: advertising identifiers, ad interaction data, rewarded ad status, and ad delivery signals where applicable
- Device and technical data: app version, device type, operating system, crash/error diagnostics, and network state
- Notification data: push notification token and notification preferences
- Support and feedback data: messages or details you share when contacting support
3. Permissions and Device Access
WalletEye only requests access needed for app features. You can manage permissions in your device settings.
- Internet: to authenticate, sync, backup, serve ads, process subscriptions, and fetch app data
- Notifications, optional: to deliver reminders and transaction/group updates
- File access, optional: to import/export backup files and attach receipt files
4. How We Use Information
We use data to:
- Create and manage your account
- Provide core features such as My Money, People Ledger, Groups, Receipts, reports, backup and restore
- Store and restore cloud backups
- Sync your data across devices and sessions
- Verify Premium subscription status and apply plan limits
- Show ads in the free plan and provide rewarded ad access for selected features
- Send transactional and reminder notifications
- Detect abuse, secure accounts, and prevent fraud
- Improve app stability, performance, and user experience
- Provide customer support and resolve issues
5. Ads and Advertising ID
WalletEye may show ads in the free plan, including banner ads, interstitial ads, or rewarded ads. Rewarded ads may allow temporary or single-use access to selected features such as PDF export, analytics, or receipt attachments. Advertising partners such as Google AdMob may collect or receive device identifiers, Advertising ID, approximate location, ad interaction data, diagnostics, and related signals to show, measure, limit, and improve ads. You can reset or delete your Advertising ID from your Android device settings where supported. If you disable personalized ads, ads may still be shown but may be less relevant.
6. Premium Subscription and Google Play Billing
WalletEye offers optional Premium subscriptions through Google Play Billing. Premium may remove ads while active, increase plan limits, and unlock selected features according to the plan shown in the app. Subscription payments are processed by Google Play. WalletEye receives limited purchase and subscription status information from Google Play, such as product ID, purchase token, purchase state, renewal status, and expiry time, to verify and manage Premium access. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play. You can manage or cancel subscriptions from Google Play subscriptions. Cancelling a subscription does not immediately remove Premium access; access usually continues until the end of the already paid billing period unless Google Play issues a refund or revocation.
7. Refunds, Cancellation, and Premium Expiry
Refunds and cancellations are handled according to Google Play policies and Google Play account settings. If a refund, chargeback, payment failure, or subscription expiry occurs, Premium access may be removed or restricted. After Premium expires, items created under Premium limits may remain viewable, but editing, adding child items, creating new over-limit items, or using Premium-only features may be restricted unless you renew or upgrade again.
8. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data only in these cases:
- Service providers and infrastructure partners that help operate authentication, notifications, storage, analytics, billing verification, crash reporting, and ads
- Advertising partners to show and measure ads in the free plan
- Google Play Billing to process and verify subscriptions
- With other users where required by product features, for example shared party/group records
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights and safety
- As part of a business transfer, such as merger or acquisition, with notice where required
9. Third-Party Services
WalletEye may integrate with third-party services. These providers process data under their own privacy terms.

We keep data only as long as needed for product functionality, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, billing verification, security, and operational needs. Retention may vary by data type. Backup snapshots, logs, ad events, and billing verification records may remain for a limited period according to operational requirements.
11. Account Deletion and Data Controls
You can request account deletion from within the app where available. You may also contact support for deletion/export requests. Account deletion may remove or anonymize your personal data where possible. Some records may be retained when required by law, fraud prevention, billing records, dispute resolution, security, or legitimate operational purposes.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. We use secure transmission where appropriate. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously work to improve protections.
